At the Henn-na Hotel, robots take place as the primary employees. Imagine checking in with a dinosaur robot called Aiko Chihira who speaks English or having porter robots carry your stuff. The robots offer a sense of innovation and excitement to the hotel experience, even though there is a human crew on duty around-the-clock to provide any help clients may require. The humanoid robots’ multilingual abilities enable them to assist visitors from all around the world. Henn Na has been recognized as the first hotel to employ robots by the Guinness Book of World Records. 😊

🤔 Story behind the Hotel’s name

The hotel’s name, Henn-na, is significant because it expresses the dedication to growth and change in the quest of outstanding comfort and experiences that go above and beyond the norm. The name of the hotel conceals an element of its mission statement. That’s because the Japanese verb “henn” may also mean “to change.” The hotel states that this phrase captures their devotion of change and “striving for the extraordinary sensation and comfort that lies beyond the ordinary.”

A robotic check-in agent, potentially even the one constructed like a dinosaur, will be there to help you when you get at the Henn Na Hotel. You will be given keyless entry to your accommodation after having your face scanned by a system using facial recognition technology.Robotic porters are available to help you with your luggage and bring it to your room. A robotic arm-equipped automated cloakroom is available if you need to keep your stuff after checking out or come early.

Henn Na Hotel has a minimalist approach, emphasizing the offering of fundamental services while minimizing extraneous excess. Offerings include free WiFi and a variety of tech-savvy gadgets make sure your stay is convenient.

The in-room technology increases your comfort once you’re in your Japanese-style accommodation. Each room has a Handy smartphone that serves as a multipurpose remote control for the AC and TV. Additionally, it enables you to activate the Smart Plate tablet, which provides game possibilities and tourist information, as well as make free phone calls—even internationally.

The Radiant Panel Air Conditioning System, which uses electromagnetic waves to assess and control heating and cooling, enables maintaining the ideal temperature. When no one is around, lights are immediately turned off using motion sensors.
