This one’s a total crowd-pleaser:
Honey Goat Cheese Gnocchi, sweet, salty, and seriously delicious.

Ingredients & Price

  • 450g of gnocchi = 1.4 CHF

  • 100g of bacon = 1.27 CHF

  • 3 pieces of honey goat cheese = 1.17 CHF

  • 2 tbsp of crème fraîche = 0.7 CHF

  • A drizzle of honey = 0.12 CHF

  • Salt & pepper (pantry basics)

Total = 4.70 CHF

Step-by-Step Instructions

  1. Cook the bacon: In a pan, cook the bacon until crispy.

  2. Boil the gnocchi: Meanwhile, cook the gnocchi in salted boiling water — they’ll float once ready (takes about 2-3 minutes). Drain and keep a little cooking water aside.
  1. Make the sauce: In the same pan, melt the goat cheese with the crème fraîche. Add a splash of the reserved pasta water to get a silky texture. Season with salt and pepper.

  2. Combine: Toss the gnocchi in the sauce, add the crispy bacon back in, and finish with a drizzle of honey on top.
