Peek into team building done by a Swiss organization – Podcast 1

Do you sometimes wonder what successful organizations do for team building activities? How do they identify the need for it? What are some examples of good and bad experiences and how did that reflect back in the workplace?

Join me in this first podcast episode of “Team Building Escape” – a series on entrepreneurship, team building and escape rooms – , as I interview Daniela Bruderer from the University of Applied Sciences of Southern Switzerland about her team building experiences.

She shares with us what she’s looked for when booking a team building activity, when the need to organize one arises, and she gives examples of good and bad team building experiences she’s had.

Daniela also tells us about two Escape Rooms she’s played in Switzerland, although not yet done as team building activities with her work colleagues, and we briefly talk about the upcoming mobile escape room Tohua Island, part of Fun Building, a start-up under construction at the moment by me, that will offer mobile escape game solutions to the corporate and event sector in Switzerland.

Finally, Daniela shares with us her ideas and recommendations for the invitation and closure of a team building activity in order to maximize participation, and to achieve a lasting effect back at the workplace.

Enjoy and please, let me know if there is anything that you would like to know more about, so that I can address it in a future post or podcast!

Thank you very much Daniela Bruderer, for opening up and sharing with our listeners your valuable experiences. I’m sure it provides some very valuable insights for people searching for team building activities and for companies that offer such services.

Last, but not least, a special shout-out goes to my son, Nico aka CheezyBeatz, for putting together the music for the podcast’s intro and outro. 🙂
