In the last post, I shared with you my favorite vegan alternatives in groceries. I think it is also worth touching on vegan cheese substitutes, as it is usually one of the most challenging foods to give up on for those who want to adopt a plant-based diet. However, it is possible to find many vegan cheese options in grocery shops nowadays. Although many brands produce very delicious vegan cheeses, I will share three different vegan cheese recipes with you that I usually make myself at home. You can try to make your vegan cheese, which would be more affordable, natural, and healthy. It is also possible to make vegan versions of other kinds of cheeses than those I have shared below.

Before starting with recipes, I want to mention the essential ingredients I generally use for vegan cheese substitutes to imitate the taste and consistency of real cheese. These four ingredients are nutritional yeast, cashews, almonds, and tofu. Once you have these basic ingredients, you can get started.
