One of the challenges to enter market in Kosovo

Imagine.. When you think to do a business ? In a new market?! A new country! A different culture!

One of the most challenging part for multinational corporations to invest in Kosovo country is culture.

As we know that the effects of cultural differences from country to country is very different when you change a place to live and very very different in business.
Kosovo’s culture has very big difference if we compare it with EU countries, which has impact on businesses too.
Multinational corporations hesitate when it comes to invest in Kosovo because culture impacts in many elements too, so they should consider the fact of :
  • How many potential customers are interested in your products?
  • How we should manage employees. What are their values & priorities based on country?

How can a multinational corporation impact to function in Kosovo as: marketing, price negotiation, sales and others stuff.

But when we talk about citizens in Kosovo, here it is very different as people prefer more to support their local brands over the foreign ones.
Moreover, there is one thing more why people here want more their local brands, because they have been offering lower prices in general based on standards of Kosovo and comparing with big multinational corporations as they cannot sometimes offer lower prices like local ones because they have their own standards like in EU countries which is one of the key problem in Kosovo.
