I really appreciate that I could live in the best country in the world. I love Switzerland with all my heart. However, each country has its own “rules” and mentality. Today I will tell you in which cases it would be difficult to live here .
At first, there are a lot of rules that you are obligated to follow. If you not agree, you pay fine. There are a lot of rules that are not so evidently from the first look. For example, you should be ready that you can’t be loud after 11pm and that’s not only about parties, you can’t use washing machine(at Sunday also) or have a shower after that time. Dogs should not bark at home, neighbors could call a police. Also, if you want close a contract ( transport, renting, mobile phone usage and etc) you should give a notice a few month before, over wise you pay full amount for future months.
Secondly, people here are friendly, but don’t be naive that you can find new friends among locals instantly. Normally swiss people have their friends from school ages and they don’t really interested in new experiences( not everybody of course, there are always some exceptions). So you really should do a lot of efforts to get their trust, but believe me they are really loyal, kind and sympathetic people.
Thirdly, life in Switzerland is really expensive. Sometimes your expenses are really unpredictable, so you always should have some money on your account for urgent cases. For example, I took a cat one year ago and he ills a lot, we payed for his medical treatment already more that 5 thousands. So, be ready that if something bad happens nobody gonna understand your problems. I even don’t want to speak about mother holidays that last only 3 month, but it is more political topic.
In conclusion, I would like to say that there are always some opinions about all countries, but if you are open minded, enthusiastic and ready to learn this beautiful mentality, please don’t take my mind very close to heart. I find here much more pleasure moments than focus on difficulties.
