Not sponsored – Just carefully researched and selected.
Okay, now that you’ve seen my before & after – I hope we’ve built some hair-trust here
And just like I said last week: I don’t only use Pantene!
The real product that saved my hair? It’s coming in one of the upcoming blogs!
Until next time — stay glowing!
See you every Sunday, besties
So stay tuned, besties – I’m working hard to drop it here just for you
Important Reminder:
Just because your scalp gets oily doesn’t mean your ends aren’t dry! You might not have oily hair – you might have combination hair (and not even know it!).
1. Oily Scalp / Oily Hair
If your roots feel greasy within a day or two, or you constantly feel like you need dry shampoo… this section is for you.
My Picks:
– L’Oréal Professionnel Scalp Advanced Dermo-Purifier Shampoo
– Scalp Advanced 2-in-1 Deep Purifier Clay (also works as a mask!)
– Scalp Advanced Intense Soother Treatment
These products are designed to:
Control sebum production
Deeply cleanse without stripping
Calm any irritation on oily-prone scalps
2. Combination Hair (Oily Scalp + Dry Ends)
Finding the balance is key! You need to cleanse the roots while moisturizing the ends – without overdoing either.
This is exactly the part you need to pay attention to:
Just because your scalp is oily doesn’t mean your ends aren’t dry!
I’m repeating this because it’s so important — oily roots don’t automatically mean your whole hair is oily. You might actually have combination hair and not even know it!
My Pick:
– Kérastase Specifique Bain Divalent
Why?
– Helps regulate excess oil production
– Nourishes dry, damaged lengths caused by styling, sun, or coloring
– Leaves the scalp fresh and clean longer (fewer wash days!)
– Gentle enough for daily use – but powerful enough to reset your routine
Bonus Mention:
For a natural-focused alternative, Paul Mitchell Tea Tree Lavender Mint Moisturizing Shampoo is another nice option, especially if you want more of a refreshing, aromatherapeutic experience.
Keratin Care: Strengthen & Smooth
Let’s talk about deep repair!
Keratin treatments aren’t just for shine – they’re perfect for rescuing damaged, frizzy, or chemically-treated hair.
Here’s the secret: To truly see results, you need to prep your hair properly before applying the treatment.
My pick: ANSWR At-home Keratin Treatment Kit
Why ?
– Comes with a shampoo, conditioner, and keratin spray – so it’s a full system
– Prep steps remove buildup
– 40 minutes + a straightener = smoother, silkier, more manageable hair
– Formaldehyde-free and safe for at-home use!

Bonus Test – The Porosity Water Test
Okay — let’s get a little scientific (but still fun)!
If you’ve ever wondered why your hair absorbs product so differently, or why some oils just sit on top… it might be about your hair’s porosity.
Here’s a super easy test you can do at home:
What You’ll Need:
– A clean, dry strand of hair (no product on it!)
– A glass of room-temperature water
What to Do:
1. Drop the hair strand into the water.
2. Wait 3–5 minutes.
3. Observe where it floats or sinks!
Psst! Want to try the hair type test for yourself?
