? Skin1004: Madagascar Centella Light Cleansing Oil

Purchased for 11.27.- (prices may vary)

To start, let’s talk about my new favorite oil-based cleanser, the Skin1004 Centella Cleansing Oil. This featherlight formula is water-like and so gentle, quickly emulsifies and washes away easily with no residue. Featuring Centella Asiatica extract, it leaves my skin feeling hydrated and soothed, a perfect match for my sensitive skin. The blend of Sunflower, Jojoba, Bergamot, and Olive oils is great for its antioxidant effects. I’ve had a pleasant experience using it to remove makeup – it’s quick and effective, even with those harder-to-remove waterproof products. Bonus for the minimalist design of the bottle, it looks so nice in the bathroom. (Rating: 5/5)

? HadaLabo: Gokujyun Premium Hyaluronic Lotion (+Refill pack)

Each individual item was purchased for 14.02.- (prices may vary)

With 7 types of hyaluronic acid, this no-nonsense lotion promises to ‘deliver the simplest form of moisture, without taking away your natural oil.’ As for the texture, instead of a creamy ‘lotion’ that we know of, this is a clear, thick, and viscous formula, yet doesn’t feel heavy when applied. It’s already become a staple in my winter skincare routine — as a hydrating serum under heavier creams. It does leave your skin a tiny bit sticky, so it might feel a bit much for oily/acne-prone skin, but for my dehydrated/drier skin, it feels just right! And yes, I’ve already bought a refill because I know I’ll be using it a lot this winter. (Rating: 5/5)

? Etude House: Soon Jung 2x Barrier Intensive Cream

Purchased for 10.65.- (prices may vary)

This is a creamy moisturizing formula that is light and glides on the skin smoothly. Packed with ingredients like Panthenol for barrier strengthening, and Madecassoside for soothing irritated skin, it’s a great combo for dry skin like mine. I have been using it as my regular day cream, and it makes my skin soft, supple, and glowy. While it does leave my skin a bit sticky after application, the cream absorbs rather quickly, so it is fine for me. It might be a tad heavy for summer, but for these chilly months, it’s just what my skin needs. (Rating: 4/5)

? COSRX: Balancium Comfort Ceramide Cream

Purchased for 17.7.- (prices may vary)

This is a heavier cream that I have purchased specifically for nighttime use or when my skin is irritated. This COSRX cream has a balmier formula, a bit similar to the iconic La Roche Posay’s Cicaplast B5 cream (iykyk), but more lightweight so, in my opinion, better. Considering the rich texture, it is surprisingly quick to absorb. With both Ceramide and Centella Asiatica as the star ingredients, this cream is perfect for repairing damaged skin barrier, soothing, hydrating, and regulating sebum production. (Rating: 4/5)

? Etude House: Dear Darling Water Tint

Purchased for 4.75.- (prices may vary)

Next, let’s get to the first non-skincare product I have shared on my blog – this Etude House lip tint in #Red Grapefruit Ade. This is a watery formula that is reminiscent of the iconic Benetint by Benefit, quickly absorbing and staining the lips for a prolonged period with zero stickiness. However, despite the beautiful color, it can be challenging to apply evenly and can look patchy as it dries. (Rating: 3/5)

? COSRX: Acne Pimple Master Patch

Purchased for 3.14.- (prices may vary)

Lastly, the COSRX pimple patch. Though I haven’t had the chance to test these patches on actual breakouts (thankfully!), from what I have gathered online, these patches are one of the best-performing ones available in the market. They are made with a special hydrocolloid material that can effectively draw out impurities, reduce redness, and speed up the healing of acne overnight. The pack includes 24 patches in three sizes, They’re translucent and discreet, ideal for those sudden, unexpected pimples. (Rating: ?/5)
