Yu-Gi-Oh Understanding the Meta, Floowandereeze how to beat them

How to beat Floowandereeze

Floowandereeze has been ruling the Meta at the moment, so let’s try and understand this deck a little better.

As we know Floowandies use the term THEN a lot so remember to target A when you can, so let’s say Ash and imperm doesn’t always get the job done there are some other cards we will look at and also understand how the dec functions.

During your Main Phase: You can reveal 1 Level 1 “Floowandereeze” monster in your hand and banish 1 “Floowandereeze” card with a different name from your Deck, THEN, immediately after this effect resolves, Normal Summon the revealed monster.

Now if your opponent resolves this card or another floowandie with a similar effect DONT chain to it let it be as a chain 1 because THEN you CAN solemn Judgment it and negate the summon, however, if it were to be a chain-link 2 or 3 you cannot activate Summonto negate the summon.

We’re gonna tackle the BANISHING, The main thing floowandies are known for.

Now let’s look at Robina

KONAMI_Yu_Gi_Oh_Robina

If this face-up card would leave the field, banish it instead.

Banish is this weird thing that doesn’t even have a designated spot on the playmats you get from structure decks. So how do we play around with this bashing story?

Well cards like Skill drain or imperm don’t do anything they only affect cards on the field and banish isn’t really on the field, it’s one of these grey area things.

So once they leave the field it’s still banished. You would need another card to actually stop this, I would recommend Artifact Lancea or Imperial Iron Wall, just put it in your side deck so when you come up against this deck you can side them in.

DEATH TO FLOOWANDEREEZE!!!!!

Dimension Shifter

So let’s say you are playing the Artifact Lancea. If your opponent activates Dimension Shifter and you play Artifact Lancea resolving them during the same turn, it DOSENT matter which order they activate, during that turn cards cannot be banished due to Artifact Lancea’s effect. However, the next turn cards will be banished due to Dimension Shifter’s effect.

So just throw the Lancea in your deck it’s multipurpose you can’t go wrong with it.

Book of Moon

This cursed card is impossible to work around so I’m here to save you from wasting your cards, let me show you what I mean. were going to reenact a chain link. Robina is Normal Summoned and activates its effect CL 1, Effect Veiler is CL2, Book of Moon CL3 and Infinite Impermanence from hand is CL4 (all targeting Robina). The chain resolves: CL4 Imperm to negate Robinas Eff, CL3 Book of moon flips Robina face down now Imperm has no target, CL2 Veiler’s Eff is useless now since Robina is face down, CL1 Robina’s effect resolves successfully, adding from the Deck and being able to perform a Normal Summon after resolution. So what did you accomplish? Nothing don’t waste your time and cards on this, If Book of moon is activated leave it.

KONAMI_Yu-Gi-Oh_L_M_G_PP

As you can see Floowandereeze get away with this trick that’s why Book of Moon is so OP, don’t fall for this trap.

Raiza the Mega Monarch

KONAMI_Yu-Gi-Oh_Razia

You can Tribute Summon this card by Tributing 1 Tribute Summoned monster. If this card is Tribute Summoned: Target 1 card on the field and 1 card in either player’s Graveyard, ALSO if this card was Tribute Summoned by Tributing a WIND monster, you can target an additional card on the field; place the first target(s) on the top of the Deck in any order, also, after that, return the additional target (if any) to the hand.

Now quickly for the Monarch, If Raiza’s effect is activated, and something is chained that moves a target, Raiza’s effect is still applied to the remaining target.

And also remember is your opponent tribute summons Raiza and activates Unexplored Winds’ Eff, sending Eglen and one of your cards to the GY, Raiza activates targeting the 1 card on the field and 1 in GY to return to the Deck, but it cannot target the additional card to return to the hand since no WIND monster was actually Tributed. This is important for those playing on DB.

Anyways guys I hope this short Blog helped you understand a little better how to play against these birds.

Gasser

Hello and welcome to my blog about Yu-Gi-Oh. I'm 22 years old from Switzerland and my friends call me Bee. I'm in love with Yu-Gi-Oh I play it online and with my friends, although it's a fun game to play I've noticed it can get very complicated after a long series of chains, so I've dedicated this blog to explaining how to properly read and understand card effects, I'm currently doing my judge test and I wanted to pass on the knowledge I've obtained. Hopefully, by the end of my lessons, you have learned a little more about the card game. Anyways duelists thank you for checking out my vids and blogs ill be seeing you on the duelling field! ‹3
