Just a Touch of Latin America
Peru
An exciting journey through Latin America began ? in the beaches of Peru, specifically in Mancora, a city with lively nightlife, ?perfect waves for surfing ?♂️, and delicious food ?️ like Ceviche, shrimp chicharrón, seafood chaufa rice, and more, since you’re nearby, take the chance to visit Vichayito where peace reigns☮️, and you can also do water activities like snorkeling ?, paddleboarding ?♀️, or just lounging by the tranquil shores. I also recommend checking out Órganos and Punta Sal, other beautiful beaches where you can not only enjoy the place but also indulge in excursions like boat tours⛵ or exploring the local marine life with snorkeling ? or scuba diving ?. Don’t miss out on the chance to savor the local gastronomy, from fresh ceviche ? to savory seafood dishes that will tantalize your taste buds.” ?
Ecuador
Then I move to Ecuador, specifically in Salinas. I decided to embark on a trip to enjoy its beaches and water activities. And since I was close by, how could I not take the opportunity to visit Montañita? ?️ A bohemian town bustling with tourists, with a relaxed atmosphere, really nice seafood to try too and a nightlife that simply captivates you. ?
Colombia
After packing my things, I set out to explore some of rich Colombia. My first stop was Cali, the salsa capital of the world. ? And what would my visit be without going to Menga and immersing myself in the salsa scene until the early hours of the morning? ? Then, I headed to Medellin, a tourist city where I was impressed by its gondola transportation system ? and the vibrant nightlife in Parque Lleras. Without wasting time, I made my way to Cartagena, with its enchanting walled historic center ?, lively nightlife ?, and varied gastronomic offerings. ?
The journey continued to Santa Marta, a coastal city in the north of the country, where I discovered beautiful beaches and indulged in shrimp ceviche ? while relaxing on the beach. I had heard about Tayrona Park, and I must say it’s something you can’t miss ?️ pristine beaches, tropical jungles, and nights in hammocks with the hypnotizing sound of the waves. ? Finally, I arrived in San Andrés (Colombia), a secluded island in the Caribbean with crystal-clear waters and coral reefs ideal for snorkeling. ?️
Panama
Then, I ventured to Panama and its famous canal. I was amazed by its old town, cultural diversity, delicious food ?, and paradisiacal beaches. ?️
Republica Dominicana
And how could I forget the Dominican Republic, specifically Punta Cana? I’ve lost count of the times I’ve visited this paradise, and I’m sure I’ll continue to do so. Its dreamy beaches and all-inclusive resorts make every trip epic. ? Here, I find the perfect balance between total relaxation and thrilling water activities, not to mention the exquisite fish dishes and the unbeatable coco locos to cool off. ?
Mexico
And what can I say about Mexico, a destination I’ve returned to several times. Like the Swiss go to Italy, I go to Mexico. After eight visits soaking up its culture, varied landscapes, Mayan ruins, spectacular beaches, the warm hospitality of its people, and its vibrant nightlife, I decided to move there for a while. And boy, did I enjoy it! ?
For lovers of warmth and turquoise waters, the Caribbean is the ideal destination. ?️ Places like Tulum, with its Mayan ruins facing the sea and its bohemian atmosphere; Cenotes, something out of this world; Playa del Carmen, which never fails to offer fun from dawn to dusk; and the incredible theme parks like Xelha, Xplor, and Xcaret, which make you feel like you’re living an endless adventure. Additionally, Cozumel with its charming beaches; Isla Mujeres and its crystal-clear waters perfect for diving and snorkeling; El Cuyo, a small virgin fishing village ideal for kitesurfing and windsurfing; Holbox, a paradise of beaches and parties; and finally, Bacalar and its seven-colored lagoons, with crystal-clear waters and a relaxed atmosphere that make Quintana Roo a must-visit destination. ?
And let’s not forget, Mexico has delicious food
What an enriching journey! I’m grateful for the experiences lived and emotions shared. There’s still so much more to discover.✈️
