Welcome back to the hospitality blog, today we will talk about capsule hotels. This accommodation type is certainly not for everyone, but the benefit of these hotels is their convenience and low price. Some hotels also provide restaurants, snack bars, pools, and other entertainment facilities. The capsule hotels by CapsuleHotel.ch are located in three different cities:
Capsule Hotel Lucerne
The first Capsule Hotel in Switzerland has an excellent location on the edge of Lucerne’s historic Old Town. It offers exceptional and innovative sleeping accommodations with an incredible price/performance ratio in “space design”.
Capsule Hotel Basel
located in the Gundeldingen, Capsule Hotel by Hyve ,,Gundeli” is a residential district anchored by the city’s main railway station, Bahnhof Basel SBB. There is an array of Asian and Swiss eateries are nearby. A converted factory, Gundeldinger Feld has bars, restaurants, and a climbing hall, and hosts cultural events. All within walking distance of the hotel.
Capsule Hotel Zurich
The Capsule Hotel at Zurich Airport will be built around the influencer and nature photographer Fabio Zingg. Fabio has a brilliant eye when it comes to showing the “hidden treasures” of the Alps. Integrated into the hotel, gastronomy, co-working and meeting rooms meet each other where the guests can inspire themselves, exchange ideas and relax.

Cool overview! I didn’t know it originated from Osaka. I’ve never stayed in a capsule hotel before. Might try one in future!
Thank you Nicole! Yes, it is a Japanese concept.. There are some good ones worth visiting 🙂
I enjoy your videos so much!! The capsule hotels are very interesting but I’m afraid to try them since I am uncomfortable in small spaces 🙁
Thank you Bianca, so nice to hear! Yes, such hotels are definitely not for everybody!
I knew they had this concept in Japan, but didn’t know this concept existed in Switzerland! Love your video, top-notch!
In the last few years, such concept was developing quickly here too. Good cheap option for those who only use rooms for sleep.. Thank you for your comment!
