They are making the most significant impact for the environment, giving their customers a change to fight for a better world and have a true passion for social responsibility. This may sound unbelievable, but these businesses are making money at the same time! 🤓
Nowadays, as more consumers are interested in making green choices in their purchases and interiorize these choices as their lifestyles, the impact of green startups increase.
Too Good To Go
One very successful example of these green businesses is Too Good To Go (TGTG) which aims to fight food waste globally. According to their website, each year, 1/3 of food produced in the world goes to waste, and it is responsible for 8% of all greenhouse gas emissions. TGTG allows its customers to save perfectly good, surplus food from their local stores (otherwise would end up in trash at the end of the day). While what customers get is always a surprise, it is always in good condition at a great price.🥳
