Hi everyone! Since summer days are approaching, most of us have problems in choosing the right foundation that would look good on us especially at end of the day when we are all tired and sweaty. So, today I am going to give you some tips on which are the best face foundations to use during hot summer days.
1.”Lock It from KAT VON D”
This is one of the best foundations that I have used and especially during the hot summer days it tends to stay in your face longer than the ones that you have tried. This foundation is mate and it is waterproof that is why I recommend to use during the hot summer days because it won’t budge. When using this foundation I would recommend to not use a lot of it since it is mate it wouldn’t look good on your face. So try to use as little amount of it as possible in order for your face to look natural. Also another tip before applying this foundation is to never forget to use foundation primer or heavily moisturize your face (especially for people who have dry skin) otherwise it will crease specifically around the mouth and at the forehead. Further, another tip is to apply the foundation quickly because it is oil free and when after applying it quickly gets dry and turns into mate. I personally have used this foundation during summer and I can say that I ended up being so happy with the final results. I highly recommend this to anyone who struggles to find the perfect foundation for hot sweaty summer days.
2.“Pro Long wear from MAC”
This foundation has a special place in my heart too. In general, I can say that all of the foundations from MAC cosmetics are extremely good and most of them are for everyday use which is what most of us look for. However, this foundation is tricky too because it dries fast and also you have to know how to apply it. I usually apply it with foundation brushes and every time I have used it did not move until the end of the day. However, I have noticed that several people have complained about this because they have oily skin and the foundation seems to move. However, for people who have extremely oily face I would recommend to not highly moisturize it. Besides this, I would also recommend to these people to use finishing powders after putting the foundation on their face. I usually use “Pro Longwear Powder Pressed from MAC” and not just for this type of foundation. This is for every kind of foundation you may use.
3.“Prep + Prime Fix+ Mattifying Mist form MAC”
So this is a spray from MAC and it’s literally the cherry on top of the cake. I love this one because you can use it whatever foundation you use and it still keeps your makeup on the face without budging. This spray has magic powers, it really does! So, this contains powders, silica and other oil-absorbing agents to help set makeup, rebalance and mattify your skin. So, this spray can be used before applying foundation and after you finish all your make up and I use it before and after makeup. I have a little tip when you use this spray. Before setting this on your face do not forget to shake it because it will leave white dots on your face. I highly recommend this spray because it really is a life saver. Thank me later!
