Moving to Switzerland was both exciting and overwhelming. Everything seemed so clean, calm, and organized , almost too perfect. But as I quickly learned, there’s a reason behind this smooth system: rules. Lots of them.
As a newcomer, I felt lost at first. What’s allowed? What’s expected? Why is everyone separating their garbage so seriously? But little by little, I discovered that understanding and following the rules is the key to not just surviving, but thriving in Switzerland.
In this blog, I share my personal experience and the most important lessons I’ve learned during the early stages of my migration journey. From registration and insurance to social etiquette and Swiss punctuality ,it’s all about respect and adjustment.
