A Decision for a Better Tomorrow
Before the journey even began, we made a decision together.
We chose hope over fear, dreams over comfort.
We knew that for a brighter future, one of us had to take the first step alone, to carve a path through the unknown.
It was not a decision of separation, but a promise:
“I will go ahead, so you can follow safely. I will endure, so we can build our tomorrow together.”
The Challenge of Being Apart
Before one of you decides to take the first step on the road of migration, you must understand:
One heart must carry the weight for both.
One must go ahead, must endure one year apart, to prepare the ground for a future together.Time will be heavy.
Painful. You must be ready for both tears and laughter.
Every Morning, Every Breath
Each morning, I rose with a heavy heart.
Some days, the weight felt unbearable.
But one single thought carried me through the darkness:
“I have to endure ,because I refuse to spend a lifetime waking up alone.”
The Pain of Goodbyes
Every goodbye during that year was soaked in tears, because no matter how much hope you cling to, you never really know when things will finally fall into place. You work. You fight. You survive , just to earn the chance to bring your loved one closer again. And through it all, you must never forget who you are fighting for.
Moments That Fill and Empty the Heart
“When you go home, your heart fills up with just one glance.
And when you leave, one tear is enough to empty it again.”
Surviving the Fight
I endured that fight.
I survived it.
I lived every heartbeat of it , until that one long, lonely year finally came to an end.
And now, every morning I wake up not with heaviness, but with gratitude because love, real love, survives everything: distance, silence, time.
A Thought from My Heart
Just because you are the one holding the strings right now,
just because you are the one carrying the weight,
it doesn’t mean you are the pillar alone.
For a pillar to stand tall and strong,
it needs two walls to lean on
two hearts, two souls, two hands reaching across the distance. Strength is not about doing it all alone.
Strength is knowing that even across the miles, you are still building something together.
A Message to Everyone Going Through It; If you are fighting for love across distances, know this:
You are not alone.
Your pain is real, but so is your strength.
Every tear you shed, every lonely night you survive, every moment you choose to believe it all matters. One day, when you least expect it, the distance will collapse, and your hearts will meet again, stronger than ever. Until then, carry your love like a flame fragile, but burning and never, ever lose hope.Because real love doesn’t just survive distance.
It conquers it.
