Furniture pieces from Colombo showroom for my dream home

Let’s escape reality and dream for a moment. With the help of visualization and manifestation, people can set life goals and make their wish lists come true. Today, I want to show you parts of my dream house, featuring furniture from the Colombo showroom.

Having been born in a big city, I have never wanted to live in the countryside, with a house and a yard full of chickens. I am a child of the concrete jungle and I don’t want to change that. My dream living space would be a four-room apartment with a balcony and a wardrobe. The flat should have high ceilings and big windows on the west and north sides.

I believe contemporary and classic styles go well together, so the apartment will be a mix of the two. The main furniture items, such as the bed, living room sofa and dining table and chairs, will be in a classic style, while contemporary accessories will give the space a modern feel. In the living room, for instance, there will be a Meridiani armchair and a Martinelli table lamp, both of which epitomize contemporary style. At the same time, the living room interior will be complemented by a Flexform sofa with a timeless classical design.

For the most important place in my flat, the dressing room, I would choose a Molteni design. They produce high-quality, modern-style wardrobes and offer customized designs based on customers’ preferences.

In my dreams, a bedroom is designed in a classical style. The first word that comes to mind is ‘cosiness’. Colombo la Famiglia presents an incredible brand called Weich, which specializes in alpaca wool items. I have already mentioned the small Weich items that make great gifts. They also offer furniture such as armchairs, as well as large accessories like carpets. By adding these fluffy items, my future bedroom will embody the essence of cosiness. An obligatory thing in a bedroom is a bed of course. My choice focused on the bed from Treca, which embodies the meaning of comfort.

A Janua dining table

Given that I socialise a lot and have friends who visit me quite often, a large dining area is a must-have. For big companies, Colombo offers a Janua dining table with set of Edo chairs by Tommaso Caldera. This combo attracts me by its modern design and high comfortability features.

In this post, I wrote about a small part of my ideas for what my flat design could look like. Although it is quite far from being realized, this dream motivates me to study and work even harder to achieve it in the future. Now, tell me about your dream interior design ideas for the future.
