Branded Just came out a few weeks ago and I saw there are a few of the same questions being asked over and over again so I decided to talk about these topics just to clarify them.

BRANDED LOST
This card seemed to confuse most of you so I thought id explain how this card actually works.
The wording in these 2 are the same so see Lost as Magical Meltdown, it does not prevent activations.
Lets set up a small chain, we are going to do a mirror match since you’ll be facing these quite a bit.
I am turn player (lemongrab) I have branded lost face up , I use branded in red and my opponent chains their branded in red . on resolution we both summon guardian chimera. So when your opponents guardian chimera would trigger, it happens in the summon response window which lost will prevent them from activating it. As turn player, you have Priority with your effect activation and since Branded Lost is on field he can’t activate their Chimera. one more thing to know you can chain block lost with chimera or vice versa also with lost your opponent cannot activate cards during the summon window.
It makes this combo seam pretty OP, but remember IMPERM CAN STOP THIS!
How does branded lost works against ghost belle? example: I want to activate branded in red in my opponent’s turn while branded lost is activated. can they chain belle to my fusion spell at this point?
Belle can be activated. Upon resolution, due to branded lost, Belle resolves without effect and branded in red resolves normally.
ASH BLOSSOM
For everyone asking about whether you can use ash blossom & joyous spring in response to branded fusion. This question has been asked dozens of times. YES YOU CAN ASH
Ash WILL negate branded fusion, even if branded lost is face up on field.
We have to understand the wording, Branded lost ONLY prevents the activations from getting negated, ash blossom NEGATES effects and avoids lost. If branded fusion is ashed are you still locked into only summoning fusions.
Also remember for the whole turn you cant LINK, XYZ or SNYCHO and if your ASHED it still aplies. If you want to avoid the condition id suggest playing Anaconda
Verte copies the effect, but NOT the condition. you can play around with her if you wanted to.
For those who want to play around Ash a little id suggest opening with a bate and then discard Tragedy and summon Jester. Both trigger, make Jester CL1, Tragedy CL2. Now, they can’t Ash Jester.
PRAY they don’t have Veiler/Imperm.

Does Branded Opening Discard for Cost? NO, you can activate cards like shaddoll monsters.
