In the next months, we’ll talk more about how businesses can stay safe online. With so much happening on the internet, it’s important for companies to know about online dangers.

Malicious actors are finding new ways to trick businesses, like fake emails asking for company information. It is important for employees to learn about these tricks and how to avoid them. A simple way to stay safe is by having different and strong passwords for all company accounts. Another good step is using two-factor authentication (2FA). This is like a second password check, making company accounts even safer. Simple actions, like updating computer programs, being careful with emails, and not sharing too much information, can also help a lot.

As companies use new tech tools, there are also new online dangers to watch out for.  We need to keep learning about these risks and how to protect our businesses. Using Artificial Intelligence (AI) can be both good and tricky. AI can help spot dangers, like strange emails, but can also be used in bad ways by others.

In Switzerland, there are rules about keeping data safe, like the Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP). Companies need to follow these rules and know what to do if there’s a problem with data safety. Therefore we recommend a safety idea called Zero Trust Security. It means “check first before trusting.” This helps keep company information safe.

Sometimes, even if we’re careful, problems can happen online. If that happens, companies need a plan to fix things. This plan should follow Swiss rules and help the company get back to normal.

The online world keeps changing, and Swiss businesses need to keep learning to stay safe. By reading this blog, you’ll learn a lot about online safety for businesses in Switzerland. We want to help you keep your business safe online. Let’s learn together and make sure Swiss businesses are protected!

  1. Hi Thibault, a very important topic and very well introduced by you!

I also appreciated the interactive part with the quiz. Sometimes the answers seem so clear and simple, but still, cyber attacks are happening on a regular basis. There’s no denying that humans are the weakest link in cybersecurity. That’s why it’s crucial to raise awareness for this topic.

I’m looking forward to reading your next articles on Cybersecurity.

    1. Thank you so much for your thoughtful feedback! I couldn’t agree more. While technology evolves rapidly, it’s our human understanding and vigilance that often lag behind, making us vulnerable.

I am happy you enjoyed the quiz and I am sure you did very well.

I hope you will also enjoy my upcoming posts!
