Indeed, Facebook has gone from a social networking site where Filipinos share photos and thoughts into a powerful marketing platform where companies invest their resources to reach their target audience. Among the top industries on Facebook are retail, services, food, and beauty, according to Social Bakers.

Here are some companies in the Philippines that accomplished their various digital marketing goals through Facebook:

  1. BeautyMNL – This homegrown e-commerce beauty and wellness company aimed to boost its online sales efficiently and cost-effectively through brand awareness campaigns via Facebook. After using dynamic ads in a collection format and targeting a custom audience, they reaped a significant return on investment in a span of three weeks.
  2. 7-Eleven – The leading convenience store in the Philippines saw a 26% increase (compared to the previous year) in offline purchase on a product they promoted on Facebook. In collaboration with Danone, the retail giant used video ads targeting core and custom audiences to generate more sales in the store for B’lue vitamin water.
  3. Mazda Philippines – The automaker took advantage of its engaged followers on Facebook by launching a lead ad campaign. Targeting Lookalike audiences with well-structured and attention-grabbing photo Ads, the company was able to gather 2,907 potential car buyers in just six days.
