Hi guys, as my first post was an introduction to what sustainable makeup and why I chose this topic. Now I am going to present to you the world’s first zero-waste beauty brand which is called ETHIQUE which in french means ethical. The brand was founded by Brianne West in 2012 in New Zeeland who began making natural beauty bars in her science lab first and then expanding to many more products.
ETHIQUE is the first world’s brand who is zero waste beauty brand including being: fully sustainable, cruelty-free, plastic-free and is plant-based. The brand won many international beauty awards and is supported by many celebrities including Britney Spears and Ashton Kutcher
The brand offers tons of products starting from hair, face, body products: shampoo, conditioner, scrub, cleans, soaps, etc. I was surprised to see that the brand is not so expensive as a zero-waste brand, the average price for a shampoo is 10 to 15 dollars depending on the kind.
