The course exists of three hands-on webinars and an online course. Our webinar guest speakers are experts from the OER community in Switzerland and Germany. They will discuss the themes above with the participants (klick on the topic for more information’s).
Online course
On top of the webinars, participants will get access to an online course. This course will provide the participants with materials and activities in order to support them in how to use and develop OER materials. Participants can decide what part of the learnings to use, according to their own existing knowledge and experience.
Consulting and support for own OER projects
In addition, the participants get support on their own OER project. We provide personal advice to participants who would like to take advantage of this further training to promote their own OER project.
Open Education Week 2021 / Openlearningday 2021
As part of the Open Education Week from 01 – 05 March 2021, organizations worldwide will participate in the open exchange of educational materials. At the Campus Lucerne several events will take place. On March 6th the Open Education Week will end with the conference openlearningdays.ch. Participants of this OER course get the opportunity to join, either as listeners or with their own projects.
Total or individual participation
Lecturers from all Swiss universities can register for this OER Course. They are free to register for individual elements or to register for the entire program. Lecturers who register for the entire program and additionally create their own OER project and publish it on our platform under a cc-license will receive a certificate of 1 credit point, which can be credited by other providers of higher education. The program is part of the project „Digital Skills powered by OER“ supported by swissuniversities. Participation is free of charge.
