Improve your learning materials by using OER
Today’s classrooms are dynamic, engaging and active learning spaces and our resources should be as well. An essential skill for educators is to be able to infuse Open Educational Resources (OER) into their learnings to meet the specific needs of their learners. Open educational resources are teaching and learning materials that are both free for the user and licensed in a way that allows for reuse and anyone can revise and remix. However, where can you find them, how can you produce them and which tools do you need? This programme is an introduction to learning about tools and practices for finding, designing, developing and publishing OER. A hands-on approach will be used, existing teaching and learning materials are to be adapted and further developed to promote self-determined and collaborative learning.
