In this week we came up with a lot of different ideas for our game and discussed them intensely. We decided to go with the concept of a cozy game that involves some strategic thinking and a bit of farming. For that we made a paper prototype and tested it with a lot of people. We got some good feedback that we will consider in further development.
Our game will be about a witch that runs a pharmacy shop where she sells potions to help cure the villagers. She has to be careful though, because she will be burned at the stake when they find out that she is a witch. She has to analyse the patient, in form of a conversation, when they come in and mix the right ingredients to crate a potion that can cure the them. For the ingredients, she has a little backyard with a garden where she can plant various plants. Another option that is in discussion right now is that she runs her pharmacy in a truck so she can travel to different villages and get different ingredients. She can store harvested ingredients in her shop storage.
