Findings from the global survey “COVID-19: Best Practices in family business”
In April 2020, a team of nine researchers launched an international survey in the United States, Latin America, the European DACH region (Germany, Switzerland, Austria), Australia and China. The research team wanted to understand how families and businesses deal with the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic – and with crises in general – and which measures they consider to be particularly effective. The goals was to develop practice-oriented and easily implementable recommendations for practice – based on observed “best practices” from entrepreneurial families from around the world.
By mid June, 2020 over 700 people worldwide had participated in the survey. The results of the survey will be published this page, and we will launch a series of English-language webinars during which we will discuss the key findings of the survey.
Findings/Part 1 summarizes the survey participants’ answers to the open questions in the survey, which centered around the measures they found the most effective in protecting the business and the workforce, and managing the family during the crisis.
- Poster: Summary Key Findings (high level, 1 page)
