The survey is closed. Many thanks to all who participated and/or supported the survey. The results will be communicated as soon as this has been approved by the FOPH (probably 2022).
In Switzerland, there is a lack of meaningful data on the health of LGBT people. However, such information is essential to create equity in health and to identify central needs and possible problems. Only with your participation, this will be possible!
What is the survey about?
The survey examines five important areas: Access to health care, a self-assessment of health, sexual health, substance use and mental health. It takes about 30 minutes to complete and is anonymous.
Who conducts the survey?
The study is being conducted by Lucerne School of Social Work on behalf of the Federal Office of Public Health. The study is supported by an advisory group of Swiss LGBT organisations.
Who can participate?
You can participate if you
- live in Switzerland,
- are at least 15 years old and
- are lesbian, gay, bisexual or trans. People with other identities (queer, non-binary) are also invited to take part in the survey.
Why is your participation important?
With your participation, you will help professionals and LGBT organisations to close knowledge gaps. In consequence, health care providers can better cater to the needs of LGBT people. The more participants take part in the survey, the better. Please participate and share the link with other LGBT people you know.
