Studio Game 1 – DRillBill – Week 1

Before we started working on our project, our class‘ three teams created constraints for each other.

We ended up with

  • Realtime-Strategy-Game
    • No ressource management
  • Reconstruction as a mechanic
  • Generally „sad“ mood
  • Drill as an ocurring object

DRillBill (working title) is what our team came up with after week one of STUGA01.

We had different ideas, ranging from a hostile underground lava world to a space prison. We gradually moved to a post-apocalyptic world, filled with ruins, which require reconstruction from the player.

Our next tasks will be to specify our game loop, winning condition and create a minimal value prototype, with which we will be able to assure that we are on the right path.
