The international Summer School program is developed by the Architecture Department of the Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts under the title “Climate Generates Space and Structure”. It explores aspects of designing in dialog with the exceptional climatic as well as resource conditions found in different parts of the world.

The concept of this Blog is to serve as a platform for sharing information and documents amongst participants which will support the summer schools.

 

2017 until today the summer school will prevent in Auroville, Tamil Nadu, India.

A collaboration with IN:CH architects + planners from Bangalore, India, the client Sristi Village Foundation in Thazhuthali, India and the IIT Roorkee University. Supported by Swiss Consulate from Bangalore.

 

2013 – 2016 the summer school was held in Ifakara, Tansania, Afrika.

Founded in 2013 by Wolfgang Rossbauer with Anika Seifert and Gunter Klix. In collaboration with the University of Daressalam, Tom Walder and Udo Thönissen.
