This playlist was created on one if not the first nights of my stay in Switzerland. We just had our first student house party and a couple of people, and I went up to the roof to look at the night sky. We sat down in those white plastic garden chairs that easily break but are made for having long and deep conversations.
My phone was connected to the speaker and the people complimented my music taste as the music played on for hours.
Those people that stayed with me on the balcony that night have become my best friends here in Switzerland. Together we made a playlist of songs that reminds us of the time we spent up there talking about our ups and downs, our insecurities, and our goals in life.
Therefore, Espresso depresso is a playlist made for people who enjoy calm, depressing, but also uplifting music to put on in the background, or to listen to when you’re up for a good cry session.
