Congrats Bianca Herlo! Our research group head, Bianca, has co-authored a book titled Design als Haltung: Handlungsfelder jenseits des Kommerziellen (Design as an Attitude: Fields of Action beyond the Commercial). This book encourages designers to explore new fields of action beyond commercial interests.
Bianca and Ulrike Brückner highlight design’s potential to foster a more livable environment and society. They emphasize that design is much more than mere aesthetics or advertising; it can be a powerful tool for social change, influencing how we interact and behave within our communities. So true!
