Canva – The key to unlocking your designer needs.

For those of you creative (or self proclaimed not-so-creative) fellas out there, I hope you’ve heard of the platform Canva. If not, you’re in for a very juicy treat along this blog post! Before I move on, do check out my previous posts regarding Podcasting and Clubhouse.

I’ve been a user of this platform since 2017 and I can not stop recommending this to my peers and colleagues!

WHAT IS CANVA?

This platform is my savior. I’ve used this on my presentations, videos, startup, to build a resume, you name it. The platform is available on desktop, mobile and tablets. Many digital marketers out there also uses Canva and you should keep reading to find out why!

WHAT DOES IT OFFER?

Offering more than 50,000 templates to choose from; here are some that you might find useful,

✨ Presentation

✨ Resume

✨ Poster

✨ Youtube Header

✨ Flyer

✨ Invitation

✨ Instagram Story

… to name a few.

WHAT CAN I USE IT FOR?

Here are my top 5 recommendations for students and graduates!

It is undoubtedly that an attractive image, header, social media post etc. catches one’s attention.

IS IT FREE?

Yes! The platform is free but also comes with a pro version with added features! I’d say give it a try as the free version also covers a vast variety of templates and graphics for you. There are always alternatives to graphics and images. My favourite is the drag-and-drop feature, which allows easy uploading of images and videos from my devices.

HERE’S AN EXAMPLE OF MY WORK

Here are two examples of my previous creation. They’re both YouTube thumbnails for my personal vlog.

Also, not forgetting that all the images/graphics you see on this post are created by using Canva.

I’d love to know if what else do you guys use Canva for and how do you find the use of this platform in contrast to your business/academic/social needs? 🙂
