Grassroots Impact: Why Social Impact Venture Building works

Grassroots impact is the underlying motivation for Social Impact Venture Building. For all the models, presentations, frameworks and methods that we use, the goal is to uplift and empower communities. It is this grassroots focus that fuels the work and is fundamentally why Social Impact Venture Building promises so much success.

In this week’s blog entry we take a closer at this and introduce you to Cici, a co-founding entrepreneur from Katutura, Namibia who graduated from our grassroots social entrepreneurship incubator “Building Bosses”.

Tell me about how you are getting involved with social impact venture building and supporting communities around you.

  1. Hi Elzine! Your work is awesome and I love reading about it in your blog!

Cici’s story is amazing! Can you share more success stories from your impact tank? I’d also love to know more about your Building Bosses program – this sounds like an amazing tool to change people’s mindsets on women entrepreneurs.

    1. Hi Oli

Thank you so much for reaching out. We have a few success stories, please have a look at our website http://www.impacttank.org.na for more information. More specifically the Building Bosses program is a three month micro-entrepreneurship incubator for disadvantaged youth in Namibia, where we assist them to launch their own businesses.
