The perfect podcast: Q&A

Hello, hello!

Can you believe it? These are the last words I am typing for this project. I had such a great time sharing with you the little knowledge I gained from reading so many articles and talking to super interesting professionals.

For this last episode, I wanted to give us the chance to exchange a little bit. This is why I started a Q&A on Instagram where lots of you asked questions related to the world of podcasting. From what is the best way to record, to the question of what is an RSS feed, I answered all your questions in a short YouTube video. A way for you to put a face on the voice.

Here are the different questions answered in the video:

0:33: What do I prefer about podcasting?

1:56: Can I become famous while podcasting?

3:58: How important is it to have a good microphone?

4:53: What is the best software?

5:42: What is the RSS feed?

6:35: How will my podcasts be on other podcasts apps?

7:20: How frequently do I need to publish?

8:57: Do I need show notes?

9:35: I don’t like my voice, can I still podcast?

10:20: On average, how many downloads should a great episode get?

11:26: How much does podcasting cost?

12:08: How can I find the time to podcast?

12:59: Does podcasting take lots of time?

13:44: Can anybody start podcasting?

14:26: Do I need a studio for my podcast to be successful?

Your favorite show under the shower, in your car, in the train or while you run. This is also a new way of delivering information to the right audience and this is why it has become a valuable tool for companies as well. The podcasts were born inadvertently in England, when the British journalist Ben Hammersley contracted the words iPod and broadcast in 2004. The following year, Apple took the invention into consideration by launching its own app: Apple Podcasts. This new radio idea had then 3000 podcast channels and counts nowadays over 800,000 (dec. 2019). In these blogs posts, we are going to figure out how to have a successful podcast worldwide has a multinational company with a B2B focus. For this, we will have interviews with professionals, tips and videos and, after a few weeks, we will become together the masters of B2B podcasting.
