On May 4th 2019, a team of 14 students and lecturers of the MSc International Financial Management accepted the challenge and ran a total of 114 km. 999 teams participated in the event and almost 14’000 runners stared at the race. At the end, the IFM Runners finished the race in 10:10:14 and achieved a respectable 524th rank.

Although the weather forecast for the race day was very bad, the first runners were still able to cover their distances under a cloudy sky and occasionally even the sun came through. Only the last runners weren’t that lucky and had to struggle with heavy rain and even hail. Nevertheless, the Sola relay race was a great event and it was fun to run with so many other runners. Furthermore, the event was very well organized (A big compliment to the ASVZ ).
