System Dynamics and Corporate Modelling

From November 10 to 13, 2015, the new master students who are enrolled in the International Financial Management (IFM) program participated in their first block week of the semester with the course System Dynamics and Corporate Modelling imparted by Dr. Justus Gallati.

The students learned to design models using different software programs. The models reflected complex problems that could be analysed from different angles with the objective to identify potential solutions. «During this week we learned to visualize complex problems by designing models with programs such as Vensim ®. The tool assists you to detect all the variables that need to be considered in a specific situation.” Azwan Steinemann – Master student.
The students now are looking back on an educational and intense week. Having a great diversity with 17 nationalities, the block week was an ideal breeding ground for new ideas and an even better class dynamics.
